White holes— the celestial opposite of a black hole— were once thought to be just theoretical, but we may have already seen one. If a black hole sucks in matter and doesn’t release it, a white hole is the opposite. It spews out matter, but prevents any matter from entering. White holes spit, black holes swallow.
